How to Use the Tracker

An optional tracker is provided here for you - it is included in the journal if you have chosen to purchase this. Alternatively, you can use this one. After all I said earlier about Nature connection being really about "being" rather than "doing," it may seem odd to have a tracker. However, I find it really helpful to consciously create time for Nature connection in my day and to have a regular practice.

The aim is to notice Nature every day, perhaps to devote 5 minutes to this or possibly longer. I find aiming for 5 minutes is perfect - I can easily find 5 minutes in my day. If it ends up being longer, that's a bonus but remember this is about moments not minutes.

Use this tracker in any way you like or create your own. For example, you could tick off each day you manage or you could draw a symbol to represent your mood or to remind you of the Nature you connected with.

Remember, this is a journey towards a new way of being - perfection is definitely not required! It's about the quality of your experience and about starting to form habits. Missing the odd day is not going to hamper your journey.
